INA (The International Nanny Association) was founded in 1985 to professionalize the nanny industry, to promote better employment conditions and respect for nannies, and to promote quality in-home child care around the world. Today, INA continues to serve as the most widely respected source of information or the in-home child care industry.
Educational Connections, Inc. employs over 100 teachers, providing one-on-one personalized and group tutoring in all subjects from Pre-K to college-level courses. Sessions take place in your home, or at their Learning Center in Vienna, VA.
ADCAN is very proud to be the longest running nanny support group. They strive to bring educational and social opportunities to all of their members. They hold monthly business meetings, monthly social nanny events, offer volunteer opportunities as well as publish a bi-monthly nanny newsletter to keep their members informed of current happenings in the DC Metro area. Fairfax County Professional Fire Fighters & Paramedics is an over 1,500 member Local of the International Association of Fire Fighters. The Step Sisters are a team of women and men in the Loudoun County’s Brambleton community and beyond that joined together seven years ago to take on the challenge of fighting breast cancer. They are made up of breast cancer survivors as well as mothers, sisters, daughters, brothers, sons and fathers who have all been touched by this terrible disease. The Step Sisters have raised more than $500,000 for the breast cancer cause in nearly 8 years.
